Kosher Holiday Resort (KHR) is pleased to announce it will be hosting Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur 2024 once again at the beautifully JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura, Florida.

This year's Yom Kippur location is being finalized very soon. 

KHR’s unsurpassed Rosh Hashana program at the JW Turnberry offers a luxurious setting for guests to enjoy and celebrate the High Holidays in a most beautiful and comfortable setting. Each guest is warmly welcomed and given the finest holiday accommodations including enjoyable services, three daily gourmet meals and a sumptuous tea room freshly prepared by South Florida's most incredible team of kosher culinary chefs.

The Rosh Hashana program will be taking place at the luxurious JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura, Florida, minutes away from PBI Airport. 

Hosted by Rabbi Pinny and Gitty Andrusier, the PGA Resort will be converted into a Glatt Kosher High Holiday Paradise. Every detail is taken into consideration to provide a memorable Rosh Hashana, with beautiful services, scrumptious dining, inspiring lectures, incredible youth program and engaging activities for the entire family.

Rosh Hashana begins Wednesday, October 2. The newly renovated resort features South Florida’s largest ballrooms, guest rooms and the famous Tidal Cove Water Park. 

Two Services will be taking place.

Accompanied by a chassidic choir, Chazzan Yossi Baumgarten will lead the main service. World renowned Hazzan Gabriel Elfassi is arriving from Paris, France to lead the Sefardic Minyan.

Services are assured to be truly enjoyable and inspirational as Chazzan Baumgarten will integrate traditional High Holiday melodies with many of the most popular contemporary Jewish tunes.  

Highlighting this year’s program will be world renowned lecturer Rabbi Simon Jacobson and Mrs. Miryam Swerdlov

Offering Chassidus before davening, dynamic sermons during davening, afternoon lectures and late-night “crossfire” with the rabbis, KHR’s High Holiday Program is renowned and unique for offering continuous inspiring lectures throughout the entire Yom Tov. 

KHR is especially excited to announce that Rabbi Simon Jacobson and Rabbi Shais Taub will be joining for Rosh Hashana.

One of America’s premier Jewish scholars in Torah and Jewish mysticism, Rabbi Simon Jacobson is one of the most sought after speakers in the Jewish world. He is considered to be one of the most successful, passionate and mesmerizing communicators of Judaism today, culling his ideas from the entire spectrum of Jewish thought and making them relevant to contemporary audiences.

Rabbis Jacobson and Taub will be hosting the annual “Crossfire” session, where the audience can pose any question the the rabbis. Crossfire has become extremely popular, especially with the teens and young adults, and usually goes on till the wee hours of the morning. 

KHR is proud to partner with Pepper & Co of Rosemary Kosher, Williamsburg's premier culinary destination. Together with gourmet executive Chef Gary Rubin of Petak Catering and his masterful culinary team, they bring you an unparalleled Rosh Hashana dining experience that showcases the exquisite flavors and artistry of the renowned Rosmary brand. 

They will combine their culinary wizardry to create the most sumptuous Rosh Hashana Kosher Menu. Three freshly prepared meals are served daily and an extravagant tea room is featured as well.

Many young families return every year mainly due to the well-organized youth program and our energized team of counselors, led by skilled head staff who have a stellar reputations for years of directing exciting youth programs. 

The children will be under great care thus allowing the parents to focus on their prayers and attend the lectures.

The Youth program is divided into four age groups offering youth prayer services, stories and games for the younger guests. At the conclusion of each holiday a grand raffle takes place with the exuberant youngsters celebrating their well-earned rewards. During services, babysitting is available for infants and younger children and is included in the package.
